Tonight and tomorrow night (12/3 & 12/4) we experience a New Moon in Sagittarius as well as a total Solar Eclipse - a very powerful combination. It’s fairly well known that New Moons are great times to plant seeds of intention, and as the Sun will be directly behind the Moon during the eclipse, it’s as if the energy of the Sun is supercharging the potency of what is carried inside that seed.

Early Friday morning we experience a full moon in Taurus as well as the longest lunar eclipse in 100 years. The full moon is generally a time when what has recently come to fruition or been fulfilled is being highlighted…

Tonight and tomorrow we will be under the light of the Aries Full Moon, and since Mars (the planet that rules Aries) is cozying up right next to the Moon, it is sure to be an extra fiery one. As Pluto is also in relationship with the Moon and Mars, we are implored to look at the deeper hidden, unconscious reasons we are prone to either act brashly, or to think ourselves out of any action at all.

What does fairness mean to you? What does harmony mean to you? What does commitment mean to you? And if one feels like it may disrupt the others, how can you mediate a compromise with a spirit of generosity?

Early this evening we welcome a very watery Full Moon in Pisces coupled up with Neptune, which is the ruling planet of that same sign, giving us an extra dose of dreaminess, inspiration, and connection with the Divine.

Today - Monday, September 6 - is a New moon in Virgo. It can feel like being in the darkest of soil where you may feel a bit lost without the guidance of any light, but it is also the place where we find the deepest nourishment for our growth.

I often think of Leo Season as the Season of Love. There’s a very good chance that’s because I am a Leo, but just go with me on this one…

It is Leo season, and tomorrow’s New Moon in Leo gives us a double dose of this prideful, adoring, creative, over-the-top loving sign. It also creates a loose T-Square with Saturn and Uranus, which adds some heaviness to an otherwise vibrant communion of planets and signs.

My mom and I have a joke that she is “Baby Sun” and I am “Baby Moon.” Typing that, I realize that it sounds bizarre (maybe even a little sick? Haha), but with her Sun in Cancer and my Moon in the same sign, there’s a lot of nurturing being given and received when we’re together. There’s also a lot of baby-like attachment.

On June 24 at 11:39am PST, we get to experience the Full Moon in Capricorn, which is the last Super Moon of the year. (The Algonquin, Ojibwe, Dakota, and Lakota peoples called it the “Strawberry Moon” because it was when the berries were ready to harvest.)

So... what are you listening for? Early tomorrow morning (Thursday, June 10) is a New Moon in Gemini squaring Neptune. As the nighttime sky during the New Moon is always noticeably darker, it is the perfect time for introspection and silence…

With the Sun in Gemini and the Moon in Sagittarius, this full moon begs us to be curious, to take chances, to move through the voices of fear that keep us from giving ourselves fully to our lives…

What if your bones were rocks?

Anytime we have a Full Moon (when the Sun and Moon are exactly opposite each other in the sky), it is our job to look at how we can find the lesson in the tension of the polarity…

Early tomorrow morning (2:21am PST) is a New Moon in dreamy Pisces. The Moon joins the Sun and Venus in this watery sign so the emphasis is on intuition, dreams, imagination and compassion.
