Bhagavad Gita

The Yoga cannon is full of so many stories that span short parables to epic texts. Even if read only at face value, each story is full of beautiful lessons that break down the barriers of dogma often associated with ancient texts, opening the way for the lessons that are universal in nature. In this three part series, we will look at three of these texts in great detail in an effort to go beyond the stories and into the deeper spiritual meanings that can help guide our lives; The Bhagavad Gita, The Ramayana and the Devi Mahatmya.

This module counts as 10 of the mandatory hours of continuing education credits required to maintain a Yoga Alliance certification, this lesson is suitable and accessible for anyone who is interested in deepening their understanding of Yoga Philosophy as well as how to live a good and righteous life.

All classes are recorded for those who can’t make the live sessions.

*please note that there is no asana in these sessions - only lecture, discussion and written exercises.
